The approval workflow feature is an essential tool for any team looking to streamline their operations. With this feature, users can create new approval workflows quickly and efficiently. The approval workflow screen provides a comprehensive view of the workflow log, including detailed information such as workflow ID, process, department, legal entity, location, levels, and action. The clickable action button can be use to add steps to every appworkflow created or edit and delete existing workflows. This feature allows teams to easily manage their approval processes and ensure that all necessary steps are completed in a timely manner. By utilizing this user-friendly tool, teams can improve their productivity and efficiency while reducing the risk of errors or delays in the approval process.  

Through the approval screen, user can view workflow log with detail information showing:

  • Workflow ID.
  • Process.
  • Department description.
  • Legal entity.
  • Location.
  • Steps.
  • Action button.

User can setup approval for the following items: 

  • Goods receipt.
  • Purchase order approval.
  • Vendor onboarding. 
  • Purchase order invoice approval.
  • Non purchase order invoice approval.
  • RFP approval.
  • RFQ approval.
  • Requisition approval. 
  • Inventory batch approval.
  • Payment run approval.

Note: Before creating an approval workflow, the user must have created an existing legal entity, location, purchase group, and department. 

Also, all items pending approval go to the approval workflow module. The user will add workflow steps, which will be further explained in how to create approval workflow.
