The purchase orders (also known as PO) are either created using this module or they can as well flow in from a sourcing item that has been evaluated and awarded. Purchase order shows total number of orders created, open PO's, open PO value, create purchase order tile, quick search box, and a filter search button. To successfully create a purchase order, you must have an existing supplier vendor, sourcing team and a fully executed requisition. this module can be use to request for product from supplier after wining the bid. 

The purchase order table log with details showing:

  • created date for PO. 
  • purchase order number.
  • Legal entity. 
  • supplier.
  • Amount.
  • Currency.
  • Status.

  • Created purchase order will be updated on the table log and will show as draft, you will then click on the draft item which will take you to the publishing screen after adding line item, then the publish button will be clickable.

  • When a purchase order is create, the table is automatically updates and purchase order will appear as draft. The next step is to publish, by clicking the PO that is still save as draft which will show details of  PO as well as the delivery status pie chart.

  • On-clicking the draft item, the screen below comes up showing purchase order details, and the publish button becomes active. Upon satisfactory preview and selection, user can then click on the publish button. 

        By doing so, a mail indicating that a purchase order have been generated will be sent to the               concerned supplier.

TRANSFER ORDER

Transfer orders can be used to change the direction of where products can be supplied, making them similar to purchase orders. In that way, it allows users to request ordered items (existing products) from any existing entity. Essentially, a transfer order can be used to facilitate the efficient transfer of goods between various divisions within the same company.

Newly created transfer order will populate the table log and status will show as "in draft", user will then proceed to add line item (product to be transfer). Upon adding line item, user can then proceed to publish order and await approval (if an approval is setup transfer order) 

  • Popup screen on-clicking add items button, user can use the check box to select preferred item to add.
